About GPS

What is GPS?
Global Positioning System consists of 24 satellites deployed in Earth orbit, which send radio signals to Earth surface. Based on these signals GPS receivers can determine its exact position - altitude, latitude and longitude - in any place on the planet, during day or night and in all weather conditions.

GPS is widely used as a global service in various commercial and scientific purposes: navigation at sea, land and air, soil mapping, making maps, determining the exact time, the detection of earthquakes and similar.

What is Transwork system for GPS tracking of vehicles?
GPS tracking system is information-integrated computer system through which Transwork d.o.o. offers its customers services based on GPS technology, such as monitoring and control (vehicles, people and goods). The system is fully Web-oriented in line with modern technological solutions which provide service in a fast, high quality and inexpensive way.

Monitoring of vehicles is 24/7 and 365 days whether they are abroad or at home. After examining the current vehicle speed, current location of vehicles, the current trajectory of vehicles on the map, it is possible to take preventive measures to avoid theft and monitor unauthorized use of vehicles.

System provides the possibility to monitor vehicle movement history (statistical mileage data, speed, start and end of driving, etc...) since the day GPS device is installed. Recording vehicles and staff work hours is simplified so making daily, weekly and monthly reports no longer need to waste precious time, everything is available in a few seconds, which certainly helps to minimize paperwork.

How Transwork GPS tracking system work?
In your vehicle GPS device is installed which receives its exact position from satellites. GPS device send information about the position, speed, vehicle status (running or shut down), and many other necessary information, through the GSM network to the Internet. This process takes place 24 hours a day without interruption.

All information system user monitors via website www.transwork.ba (display of vehicles on the map with textual information about the location, movement, speed and direction of the vehicle, speeding).

Data from the vehicle to the control center is transferred wirelessly via GPRS GSM operator. Each device has a DATA card. If the vehicle travels in a roaming zone device can be programmed not to send data to the server, but saves it in its memory. When you return to the home network data is forwarded to the server and makes them available, thus avoiding traffic in roaming and increased costs. If there is a need to monitor the vehicle while in other countries ie. roaming, you can get special DATA SIM cards that transmit information from roaming as a home network.
