Transwork

Project "Excellence in Innovation"(EI Project) is a five-year project to strengthen the competitive position of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies in six targeted sectors using information and communication technology (ICT). The initial phase of the project was co-financed by the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID/BiH), while the current phase of the project is financed only from the resources provided by USAID/BiH. Since December 2007, the EI project supported the establishment of four centers in targeted industries, wood processing, agriculture, tourism, metal processing.

In the current phase of the EI project, focus is on strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in BiH in logistics sectors and textile industry.

The project aims to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs by increasing the use of "highly effective" ICT applications so that SMEs can offer new products and services with added value, which are required in the domestic and international markets. EI project with local partners co-invest to establish e-BIZ Centers that offer a "highly effective" ICT services which quickly and significantly strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs in targeted sectors. The newly established technology centers will become financially sustainable and operational by the end of the EI project, offering a "highly effective" ICT services for SMEs long after the project.

Satwork d.o.o. was founded in late 2005. in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Satwork consists of a group of young, promising and successful people who want to prove on the market with technically modern and high quality workmanship.

Following the latest technical developments which are already widely used in transport and organizing fleets in the world, Satwork has launched the project of GPS tracking system using GPS devices. One of the pioneers in this field who brought new and innovative information technology in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Satwork created its own product on the market, Satwork IRS system for monitoring and control of vehicles, people or other goods. Within this product they created software applications for data processing, vehicle position informing, detailed map of cities and regions, the statistical review of the mileage and the actual fuel consumption.

Satwork d.o.o. Banja Luka created the idea of e-BIZ Center Transwork, founder of the company which together with the USAID funded project to create Transwork Freight Exchange aimed at increasing the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises and the introduction of modern IT solutions in their business.
